There have always been threats to Buffy and her friends by many creatures and they have all fallen, all but Angel and Spike. Both of these vampires were with Buffy at some point. It's up to Sam and Dean to decide if they are with Buffy, or against her. One thing is for certain, there is going to be one hell of a fight! Just to add a little twist, The First is back! But this time, when it is in the form of someone who has risen from the dead, it can take solid form! This means trouble for all the scoobies. The First has devised another evil plan to eliminate the slayer line once and for all. Will Buffy, Sam, Dean and their pals defeat The First or will evil triumph once and for all?

Wesley's books have showed no demon that has nearly enough power to create a barrier strong enough to encompass a whole city; there is no scientific explanation that Fred can find; Eve swears that the Senior Partners have nothing to do with it and even Willow, called in specially and now stuck there with the rest of them, can find no spell that will break it. Whatever's causing it, the barrier has something immensely strong behind it.
Finding how to break the barrier isn't the only thing that Angel and his team have to worry about, though. They're still finding their feet at Wolfram and Hart, working out which clients should be kept and how best to deal with the ones that would probably kill them if they were let go. They still have to finalise their plan to take down Wolfram and Hart from the inside, as well as find out who recorporealised Spike and which of their employees they can actually trust. They're all feeling trapped by corporate life - admittedly some more than others - and the barrier isn't helping anyone's stress levels.

There have been more deaths in the last month and more people rising from the grave than Angel has seen in the last two years. There's only so much he can do, even with the help of Faith, Andrew and a few new Slayers, all sent from the new Slayers' academy in Scotland to try and stop the vamps killing everyone in LA before Wolfram and Hart can break the barrier. They're barely taking the edge off, though; the vampires have strength in numbers, and a city full of panicking humans is a perfect feeding ground for them.
Nobody knows what's happening, but something has to be done fast; if they leave it much longer, there's not going to be much of Los Angeles left. It's a case of escape, or STAY TRAPPED forever.

For a full day, that was all that was to be heard in Heaven. Dean Winchester had been pulled out of Hell and brought back to Earth. His quest was not yet fulfilled. He had been saved, to save.
Hell is planning something big. There are remaining YED psychics in the world. The Chosen. They are on Hell’s top wanted list.
Hell is being split in half. One leader, Lilith, is raising her army. She intends to kill all of the chosen ones, mostly because of fear, but also because they are not part of her glorious plan. Meanwhile, another army is being made by Cameron. He intends to do the opposite. He respected Azazel and his plan, also intends to continue his work.
As you might have guessed, war is raging in Hell even. Lilith’s and Cameron’s armies are clashing as their desires are coming close to breaking free…
The Chosen ones, are feeling the pull and weight of their powers. They’re getting angry. Rage consumes them and it gets worse and worse the more they fight from using their powers. But every usage of that power brings them closer to their fate. They are constantly being hunted. By demons. Imagine that. Demons becoming the hunters. Lilith’s army is wiping out all of the chosen ones while Cameron’s army is tempting them.

Sam Winchester is feeling the pull of Hell. His powers are growing stronger. He is convinced that he can turn his powers around to do something good with them. He just doesn’t realize that these powers were made to tempt him. He’s heading down a dangerous path fast. Rage is beginning to consume him and he can hardly take it anymore. If he could just use his powers-- But he’s been warned. God doesn’t want him doing this. And he will stop it if need be.
John Winchester. Hmm. I bet you haven’t heard of him in a while, huh? Let me ask you this. When Dean killed Azazel, did you see that John was out of Hell? He climbed out of the gates of Hell. What were to happen if the night that Dean & Sam split away from Papa Winchester, Sam shot the YED?
The night where their father went to give the demons the fake colt and Dean and Sam stayed with the real colt to kill the demon. What if Sam killed him?
Well, let's think about this. Papa Winchester wouldn't have had the chance to be kidnapped, therefore he wouldn't be possessed. There wouldn't have been the showdown or the car crash. Dean wouldn't have fallen into a coma and Papa Winchester wouldn't have had to sell his soul in order for Dean to live.
What if all of that were to happen? Then what? What if the YED was, in fact, finished?
That's where Highway To Hell comes in!
In this site, the YED was killed that night and so none of that stuff happened afterwards. Dean, Sam and Papa Winchester are fine and well. But, they are still split up. Right when Sam killed the YED in that child's room that night, there were time for congradulations and then Papa Winchester was off once more.
Dean and Sam had some time to think about what this meant. Their whole lives, they'd been having a crusade, needing to find this beast that kiled their mother and now they had. They had conquered it and it was all over. But that's just the thing...
... it wasn't.
There were lots of evil things still out there and they needed to take them out. So they decided that they were going to continue on doing what they were doing. Since the YED was dead, Papa Winchester had told Dean and Sam about the plan for war on earth with one of the psychics leading them. Since it was all over, they had nothing to worry about.
But that's where they were wrong.
They hadn't heard of a child demon named Lilith. Lilith heard of the YED's plan and she liked it. The whole idea was genius to her and she wanted to continue his work. That would make it so more blood would spill. And let's face it.. Lilith is a big fan of blood.
The only problem with her plan, was the counterpiece. Cameron hated the idea of this psychic plan. Humans.. leading.. demons? What was this world coming to? So, he created a little plan of his own. Him and his followers were going to crawl their way out of Hell and they were going to kill all of the Special Psychics. No way were humans going to lead demons.
So the unthinkable is happening. Demons are fighting demons. Lilith absolutely loathes Cameron and the feeling is mutual. So their warriors are fighting in Hell and on Earth, killing each other and throwing them back into Hell. But it's not a full on war where they never stop and all their demons are fighting. No, there are some out there in the world just doing their shitty business as usual. Though, the hunter demons are out now and they are ready to spill Hunter blood and Special Psychic blood as fast as possible.
